PROJECTS:
1. 24″ 600# Plug Valve Bodies in Superduplex (A890Gr.6A)
- Challenge: Adding material to the bottom due to pattern issues.
- Project Steps:
Application of a WPS according to ASME Code Section IX.
PT, VT, and RT inspections conducted by Level II operators on welded areas.
Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) to ensure maximum strength.
2. Welding Rings inside 24″ and 12″ RF Gate Valve Bodies in CF8M
- Challenge: Welding 48 rings into valve bodies with strict specifications.
- Project Steps:
Implementation of WPS/PQR with welder qualifications according to UNE standards.
PT inspections before and after welding operations.
Final verification with VT inspections after final machining.
3. Forged WYE 12″ 2500# BW Globe Valve Bodies in F91
- Challenge: High-resistance cladding and surface hardfacing.
- Project Steps:
Application of WPS and WPQ according to UNE standards.
Cladding with Alloy 600 and hardfacing with Stellite Gr.6.
PT and VT inspections conducted by Level II operators to ensure quality.
HOW DO WE GUARANTEE QUALITY IN EVERY WELD?
1️⃣ Certification and process control: All our projects are monitored under the framework of WPS, PQR, and WPQ, complying with ASME IX or EN ISO standards, depending on customer specifications.
2️⃣ Advanced equipment and machinery: We use welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, SAW, and GMAW. All our machinery is calibrated annually by external accredited laboratories to ensure maximum precision.
3️⃣ Filler metal control: All the filler metals we use are CE-marked in accordance with EN 13479 or approved by authorized third parties.
4️⃣ Safe storage: We have a controlled storage room for filler metals, where we maintain optimal temperature and humidity conditions, ensuring materials are kept in ideal conditions until use.
